Birthday treat

{I wrote this a long time ago. I published it and I guess it never went through. I'll go ahead and post it for memories sake.}

There are a few movie theater's around here that show movies to kids for free. The movies are older movies. By older I mean older Disney movies or movies that have been released within the last few years. 

The week of Hadley's birthday, one of the theaters was showing The Little Mermaid. I decided I was going to take her to see the movie. Hadley has never been to the movies before this time. 

We also invited Aunt Cindy and cousin Brylie.

Summer Lovin'

While Lee and I went to OKC for our anniversary, Hadley spent the weekend at Nammy and Papa's house. While she was there she got one of her birthday presents early! A playhouse! She loved it.

 

Also this summer, Hadley decided she just had to buy this huge water gun at Dollar Tree. She played with it for a few days before she really understood what it was made for. She called it "face" for a few days because we showed how to play with it causing air to blow in her face. Finally, I took her outside to show her what "face" was really made for. She loved it!!

She also likes going outside to do "colors." She told me she was Daddy's girl.
